The bank is trying to take my home. Well, actually, they have, but I've been picketing their branches for a few weeks. I decided to send out press releases in order to get coverage in local papers. The first one I got was the Half Moon Bay Review. There was a nice piece titled, "La Honda Man Fights War of Words With Bank".
Yesterday I picketed the branch on Middlefield Road in Palo Alto. I had emailed the P.A. Daily Post with my intentions and time. They sent a reporter, and another reporter, for the P.A. Free Press happened by and did a live streaming interview which is on their website.
So that afternoon I got a call from someone in the bank's executive branch asking me to re-send my loan modification application, updated.
You don't think having three reporters phone them for comments in two weeks had anything to do with it...neither did I.
